Operation: C.I.C.G operates as a solution driven not for profit organization made up a board of directors and private stakeholders in a variety of specialties’. We are exclusively a public sector resource offering our services to governments identifying tight fiscal budgets and providing key research criteria. The objective of our resource is to enable, both municipal and provincial government officials and departments to be able to make quantitative decisions about the funding of social essentials.
How: The purpose of C.I.C.G is to find and even provide through private sector partnerships services to alleviate public sector budgets. Our objective is to cut costs saving the taxpayer millions yearly on services that can be contracted to non-profit providers or for profit providers at a cheaper cost. Our model will be open bidding on services that C.I.C.G cannot provide from its own stakeholders. This Allows for public transparency of tracking of spending and services in any area of the city or province.
Services:
C.I.C.G services would be contracted out by municipal and provincial government entities. C.I.C.G’s intimate understanding of the current and past spending allotments is essential to making sure our clients receive maximum results from our research. Information sharing is confidential between C.I.C.G and its clients.
- Budgeting forecasts is part of our quantitative method of being able to ensure governments are staying on track with budgetary realities.
- Forecasting of anticipated revenue surpluses or deficiencies from tax reductions and tax increase strategies and their economic effects are also services that can assist local government in strategies for saving the taxpayer money. We provide multi-sector tracking of how, arts and culture, recreation, daycare, housing, after school programming, ESL, transit, policing, festivals, tax abolishing, tax introduction will affect a local economic market.
- Providing of actual needed services, such as recreation, youth initiatives, awareness initiatives, elderly programs, and other programs is also an option for our client to utilize a non-profit price range for high quality services.
- New pilot services are another area where C.I.C.G can propose new initiatives that bring high visibility and government revenue while providing a needed social service. Through recreation and arts, we will be able to leverage our spending on social programs causing local or foreign corporate migration into local economies. Corporate migration brings tax dollars and creates jobs which results in local residential property acquisition thus broadening the tax base of a municipal client.
- Workshops are also services that C.I.C.G provides allowing our economic team to mentor government officials on how to engage a local economy with programs that will act as stimulus. Teaching officials the value of using other options to save and serve the taxpayer as well as bring needed jobs and quality services to their constituency groups. We will research marginalized groups in societal microcosm areas and provided solutions and awareness how to serve these groups effectively. All workshop attendees will leave with a certificate designation indicating they are “C.I.C.G certified”. C.I.C.G certified businesses would be organizations that identify the need to have proper economic partnerships with their local communities as well as local and provincial governments.
